Job Title:
Client Services –Senior Technical Support Specialist
Responsible for technical consulting related to the implementation or upgrade of products at a client including the validation of hardware configuration, installation of software, management of a development database, and assistance with the transition to production.
Requires travel to client sites.
Liaison between client and technical support representatives including Customer Service, Product Management, Engineering and vendor hosting personnel during product upgrades and implementations.
Creates system procedures for responding to customer inquiries via telephone, online networks, and mail, application batch processing, client onsite application installation and hosted networks.
Trains technical staff for the client on the proper use, support and maintenance of products.
Communicates with support via problem management database and programmers regarding bugs and follows-up to make sure fixes are received and tested.
Advises upper management on product development issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customers.
